“After relocating to Naples as a full-time resident early-2011, I was looking to transfer my skills from
Mountain Biking to Road Cycling / Bike Commuting (there aren't many mountains/hills in SWFL). I did my diligent research, and I knew what type of bike I needed. I also researched the numerous bike shops in Naples, and came up with a list of three that I wanted to stop in at, two were big-name /well-known, the third was a new to the market, much smaller, but had potential. I went to the small shop first, Fuel Free Recreation. I explained to them my needs. They took the time to communicate their thoughts, were laid back, honest, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I politely told them I had more research to conduct, they understood and made no high-pressure sales pitch nor anything of the sort. I was on my way. I stopped in at the two larger shops, and received customer service you'd expect. I was told what my needs were, I was told what my wants were, but communication was one way. Them to me.
I knew the sales associates heard me, but at the other two shops, they did not listen. These other shops tried to up-sell me, try and get me to by features I did not want, and one shop even tried to change the whole platform of bike I was looking to purchase, at which point I explained the features and benefits
of the bike I wanted, and the sales associate agreed with me. I took 24 hours to do more research online, and realized that Chris and Shelly at Fuel Free Recreation were certainly the shop I was going to work with. We ordered my bike, Chris got it in, built it up, and the following day I used it to compete,
and complete, my first triathlon. I haven't stepped into another bike shop since, nor would I. Fuel Free Recreation is my one-stop shop for all things bike and commuter. I certainly recommend to all onsumers in the market for a bike, as it is a must that you stop in and see what this Mom & Pop Shop is all about.”

My wife and I are new part time residents in Naples. We love it here and decided we needed to purchase bicycles to make the most out of the SW Florida lifestyle. We found Fuel Free Recreation on line and stopped in this week. What a great surprise ! Chris and Shelly were absolutely wonderful people. Very informative and genuine. Quite honestly, I had thought we would buy a couple of cheap ones from a big box store and hope that the assembly was minimal ! However, after test riding a couple of Shelly's
recommendations, we were sold ! My wife picked a retro model and I went for the red one"... It had been at least 25 years or so since we rode bicycles, but as they say..."you never forget" I would strongly
encourage anyone looking to get back on two wheels to drop and see the family at Fuel Free !!

We just bought 2 bikes from Chris & ; Shelly, great people to work with and fair prices. Service is
absolutely excellent! Bikes were delivered promptly and Shelly was great to work with. She was very helpful in choosing the right bike for each of us! We came back a week later to get some accessories, again they were very friendly and a great help with the choices.....highly recommend going to their shop for personalized service.

Amazing service!!! Shelly took my special order for a Breeser Greenway and Chris put it together. I used to race and work in a bike shop this is how every shop should be. They have a great selection and if you don't see it on the floor just ask and they will order it for you. I will not go to any other bike shop it's just that simple.

Amazing Service...Great People!! I recently returned from China and my bike needed a definite tune-up after it arrived from sea shipment. Chris and Shelly were awesome...great people and great service. Deep knowledge and very trustworthy. I will definitely be back and the bike is riding better than ever.

Chris and Shelly not only know their product, but they are genuinely concerned with building a great local bike shop. Bought two great Pedego E bikes from Fuel Free and I have my eye on a Surly in the window. Next bike I buy will be from Chris and Shelly

knowledgable. I just bought two Phat cruisers from them that I special ordered. The bikes are very cool! I also bought some great accessories from them. Chris is also a great bike mechanic. I can't say enough great things about the place.

Great bike & great service.
I bought my Pedego bike here a few months ago & I'm very impressed by the quality of the bike & the whole buying experience. Chris & Shelly are great & I recommend them highly. I had to cut my riding way back a few years ago because of a debilitating back injury. Now with the Pedego bike I have my mobility back & then some. Also it's just plain FUN!!! (VERY SATISFIED) Rob.

I bought my Pedego electric bike
here last winter. The owners, Shelley and Chris, were very knowledgeable and helpful. They used their trailer to deliver the bike to my condo. There was a minor finish problem on the bike that I first received, but it was replaced with an identical model shipped from California promptly and without question. I would definitely deal with them again for all my needs in this area.

While shopping for a Pedego, I was referred to Shelly and Chris at Fuel Free Recreation as they have the
largest inventory of Pedego Bikes in the Southwest Florida area. I am very pleased with the excellent service they provide (pre and post sale). They always promptly respond to any questions I have and are very knowledgeable about Pedego and other bicycles. If I would have known about Fuel Free Recreation
earlier, I would have purchased a Pedego some time ago. I love my Interceptor and this bike provides great value. The prices are fair and the service is great. A very satisfied customer.

I was in search of my first road bike. I visited all the shops in town. After a month of searching I chose Fuel Free Rec because of the welcoming atmospher, wonderfull customer service and their patience. Shelly really listened to me and guided me with my test rides. I highly recomend Chris and Shelly. All the bikes have style and are resonably priced. No other bike shop deserved my hard earned $.

I had the pleasure of buying a bike last week at Fuel Free Recreation! It's not often I can say that I enjoyed the process of making a major purchase, but from start to finish it was great. Shelly remembered my name from a phone call when I drove in, so things started off great. They had a Surly Long Haul Trucker on display, and I was able to test ride and comparison ride to my hearts content. Shelly spent a lot of time with me to make sure I got what I wanted. Both she and Chris were knowledgeable about the bikes too. The bike was set up beautifully, showing off its components and Chris's skills with a wrench. They even took the time to come outside for a "family photo of my new bike as I left with my new baby......a great shop, with great people. Fuel Free Recreation is the place to go for a great selection of modern and traditional bikes and great service.
